The objective of the MRV Cluster is to produce scientific analyses in support of policy and action to establish a robust and credible MRV system.
The main activities under this clusters include:
- The MRV for Climate Programs Cluster works with research institutions of line ministries and other science-based collaborative groups, and coordinates with regional and national technical agencies.
- The Cluster convenes inter-institutional dialogues on policy and technical issues by involving Indonesian and international experts from universities and technical agencies, stakeholders, local governments, professionals in the community, engaged activists and scientists.
- The Cluster continually develops policy briefing papers on MRV. Findings, progress, and outcomes from international, national and sub-national will be synthesized for policy consideration in relation to MRV Institution Establishment and a suitable infrastructure for its related activities.
- The Cluster aims at developing a longer term work program on MRV for Climate Programs, addressing critical information gaps identified by the research, to promote a roadmap of MRV systems.
